Insulated glass is available in dual or triple pane. Low E glass is used to help reduce heat loss in the winter and air conditioning costs in the summer. For those elevations requiring more or less solar heat gain and visible light transmittance a combination of various Low E, green, grey and bronze glass are available to accomplish any glazing situations.

All venting windows use a combination of compression, pile and santporene weather stripping. The weather stripping, when used in conjunction with the locking mechanism, will ensure that the sash is fit securely against the frame and ensure air loss around the sash is minimized. 

Bronze, coppertone and white are the standard colours with other colours available as requested. Hinges are heavy duty concealed hinges while the operating roto mechanism ensures an easy open and close of the sash.

The locking mechanism for all venting windows is available in single or multipoint. When closed, the locks assist in ensuring a positive seal against the frame. In fact, the window does not have to be entirely closed and the reach on the lock can still grab the sash and pull it in towards the frame.

The screen bar is heavy gauge aluminium available in a variety of colours. These include, bronze, coppertone, earthtone, green, red, and white. The screening material is a non glare fibreglass mesh.

The PVC window frame and sash are extruded using a custom formulated rigid poly vinyl chloride. It is a multi chambered high impact resistant material that is manufactured to our own exacting specifi cations. All corners are mitred, fusion welded than cleaned with a precision CNC corner cleaner.

Grill options include a between the glass grill and wood removable grill. Colour choices vary depending on the grill used. Some of the standard colours are brass, pewter,  brown, earthtone, green and  white. For those requiring a more authentic look to the window design, Paramount can offer Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) and True Divided Lites (TDL).
