Paramount Windows dates back to 1948 when the family construction firm of Dudeck & Dudeck began making wood windows, cabinets and mouldings for the homes they were building. It wasn't long before other builders discovered their talent and fine workmanship and their small millwork shop expanded into what is now a major window and door manufacturing company. Throughout the 1950's and 1960's much of Paramount's success was attributed to their double glass picture windows. With each new year came new ideas and challenges - sliders gave way to wood ventilating windows; single weatherstripping evolved into two and finally three sets; and double insulated glass was expanded into triple insulated glass. And in 1962, after many years of research, Paramount Windows introduced Canada's first-ever triple insulated seal unit.

The 1970's demand for more energy efficient, high performance quality products led Paramount Windows to develop the P.V.C. clad wood window, and later, the successful aluminum clad wood window with its wide selection of colours.

With the advent of the 80's, it seemed only natural that Paramount would expand its product line to include an all-P.V.C. window - for both the renovation and new home markets. Responding to consumer demands of the late 80's and early 90's, Paramount Windows developed a series of high performance glass systems emphasizing reflective glass and insulated spacers.

Builders and homeowners continue to be drawn to the same fine workmanship that has made Paramount Windows the leader in design and manufacture of a wide range of top quality window for the past four decades.
