The exterior of choice is then fastened to the frame. Last a double layer of weather stripping is attached to the frame to ensure a positive seal that will keep the elements at bay. The sill is made of a wooden core that is clad in non-skid extruded aluminum with proper thermal properties to prevent heat loss. The sill also has an adjustable imperial safe-step threshold with a low profile and deep groove thread design.
